MASKS-PACHES WITH CUCUMBER AND ROSE FOR SWELLING AND DARK CIRCLES

Our great-grandmothers knew about the property of cucumber to moisturize the skin, and rose water perfectly soothes, improves blood circulation and refreshes the fragile skin around the eyes. Aloe vera gel relieves irritation and moisturizes, rose essential oil adds aroma to the mask and helps strengthen capillaries in the area.

half a medium cucumber (3-4 cm piece)
1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
1 tbsp natural rose water
2 drops rose essential oil

Peel the cucumber and cut into cubes, grind in a blender with the remaining ingredients until a homogeneous jelly. Cut the cotton pads into a crescent shape. Thoroughly soak each disc with the mask composition, place the wet discs on a sheet of baking paper and freeze. Before use, let the disc sit for 2-3 minutes at room temperature, then apply it to the area under the eyes for 10 minutes.

You can make a very simple version of this mask, using only cucumber and rose water - the main thing is that rose water should be natural (rose hydrolate), without alcohol. Aloe vera gel can be ordered for delivery from numerous online stores (I use here this).

You need to be very careful with rose essential oil: it is one of the most expensive oils, so many fakes and low-quality options are sold. This oil is very well suited for anti-age care, so if you decide to invest in its purchase, then be prepared to pay about 15-20 euros for 1 ml of oil - this is the price of a quality product, anything cheaper raises serious doubts (in pharmacies sometimes synthetic inexpensive oils are sold that cannot be used for cosmetic purposes).

MASKS-PACHES WITH PROTEIN FROM “CROSS FEET”

Egg white is included in many recipes for homemade masks, and downright miraculous properties are attributed to it. In fact, in terms of prevention and deep skin care, egg white is not that interesting, but if you need to quickly smooth out wrinkles (for example, before an event), then you cannot find a better component.

The fact is that when frozen, the whipped protein contracts, and since it has the property of “grabbing” the skin, when compressed it mechanically levels its surface. To quickly get rid of small wrinkles (for example, nasty mesh around the eyes), protein masks are ideal.

You can apply this mask using a patch or with a brush (if you manage to whip up a strong foam, then applying it with a brush is more convenient):

Pour the egg white into a deep bowl and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Puncture the vitamin E capsules, add the contents to the protein and stir everything gently.
